Victoria University appoints Professor Karen Dodd as Pro Vice-Chancellor

Victoria University (VU), Australia, has appointed Professor Karen Dodd as the inaugural Pro Vice-Chancellor of its Delhi NCR campus ahead of its first student intake in August 2026. The appointment marks a significant milestone in the university’s India expansion under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Professor Dodd, currently Executive Dean of VU’s College of Sport, Health and Engineering, will oversee academic leadership, governance, and the delivery of Australian education at the Gurugram campus. She will also strengthen industry partnerships and ensure academic quality and regulatory compliance.

The Delhi NCR campus will offer undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Business and IT through VU’s award-winning Block Model®, where students study one subject at a time in four-week blocks. The campus is among the first international university campuses established in India under the NEP framework.
